The inaugural F1 Grand Prix of Inda race concluded amongst big fan-fare at the Buddh Internatio nal Circuit on October 30, 2011 in Noida near New Delhi. Sebastian Vettel of Red Bull Racing team lead from start to finish to win inaugural Indian Grand Prix race on Sunday the 30th of October, 2011.
But, there was a bigger event going on at the Indian Gran Prix - Sachin Tendulkar doing the honors of waving the chequered flag at the finish line for the winners.
Sachin arrived at the Buddh International Circuit early with his family - wife Anjali Tendulkar and daughter Sara.
Sachin met the F1 legend Michael Schumacher and many other F1 racers and teams. He also went to the Sahara Force India camp and spent sometime with the owners Vijay Mallya and Sahara Subrata Roy.
